The world of go-kart racing has undergone a dramatic transformation in recent years. With the introduction of high-energy electric go-karts, the racing experience has become faster, safer, and, let’s admit it, even more fun. Enthusiasts all across the U.S. are embracing electric go-karts and falling in love with the thrill they provide. Now, with the American E-Kart Championship, there are even more opportunities to experience the exhilaration of winning.
The American E-Kart Championship is a league unlike any other, offering nationwide racing, exciting prizes, and the chance to compete against top racers in Chicago. This championship includes participants from all over the country, featuring all 11 of our Accelerate locations and 16 other indoor electric karting facilities across the U.S. So, no matter where you’re racing from, you have the chance to join us in this thrilling event.
But that’s not all; this will be a World Karting Association (WKA) sanctioned championship, adding to its significance. WKA is the largest kart race sanctioning body in North America and is a part of CIK, the karting commission of FIA, the international governing body of Motor Sports worldwide. Being a part of this inaugural league is indeed a big deal, and you can be a part of it too.
Here’s everything you need to know about the American E-Kart Championship:
When: The league runs from May 21 to July 15, and the Championship Race will be held on August 10-11 in Chicago.
Preliminary Round Prizes: Each location’s first prize winners will receive either $500 or $1,000 (depending on the number of participants), while the 2nd place will get $250, and 3rd place will receive $100.
Final Round Prizes: Each track’s champion will have the opportunity to race for big rewards in Chicago in August. The first prize winner will receive $10,000, 2nd place will get $2,000, and 3rd place will receive $1,000.
Pricing: Take advantage of early bird pricing and sign up for $350 by May 14. You can also pay the full $425 up to the night of the first league race or split your payment into two installments of $212.50, with the first payment due by May 21 and the second payment by week 4.
